An important day and big news

This Sunday, July 24 to 17h GMT was held a meeting between Mr Boubacar MANÉ, representative of the organisation « COUNTRY HOPE 87 SENEGAL » and the population of Baraka. The meeting took place at BARAKA football field.

Ce dimanche 24 juillet vers 17h GMT s’est tenue une rencontre entre Mr BOUBACAR MANE  représentant « PAYS De HOPE 87 SÉNÉGAL » et la population de Baraka. La réunion s’est déroulée au terrain de football de BARAKA.

Après vous avoir fait la présentation de l’ancienne case de santé de Baraka, on a pris l’initiative de faire une petite visite auprès de certains habitants de la cite. La santé étant un défi de tous les jours pour nous, nous essaierons de vous montrer les difficultés que vivent les habitants de Baraka pour se soigner.

The history of the old Baraka health center

Baraka does not have any acces to health structure to promote health and improve the living conditions of its population. This is what leads us today to meet Fatoumata SY, former community health worker from the old Baraka health center, to make the history of the defunct box .

Historique de l’ancienne case de santé de Baraka

Baraka ne dispose plus à ce jour de structure sanitaire pour un accès aux soins, pour promouvoir la santé et améliorer les conditions de vie de sa population. C’est ce qui nous conduit aujourd’hui à aller à la rencontre de Mme Fatoumata SY, ex agent de santé communautaire de l’ancienne case de santé de Baraka, pour qu’elle nous fasse nous faire l’historique de la défunte case.

La nuit la plus importante du Ramadan

Le mois du ramadan correspond au neuvième mois du calendrier musulman. Pendant celui ci tout bon musulman se doit de jeûner la journée entière jusqu’au coucher du soleil. Vers la fin de ce mois béni, une nuit spécial appelée Nuit du Destin chez les musulmans est célébrée par toute la communauté. Baraka n’a pas fait exception  à la règle.

The most important night of Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. During this one any good Muslim must fast all day until sunset. Towards the end of this blessed month, a special night called the Night of Destiny among Muslims is celebrated by the whole community. Baraka was no exception to the rule.
