In the brotherhood of union and development of Baraka, the association e.j.d.b. (agreement of young people for the development of baraka) has organized one cultural week from the 23 at 25 of december 2016. And because a picture is worth mile words, we show you a gallery of photos of times of joy and of communion of all the inhabitants of the city.
On the 16th and 17th of November 2016, the population of Baraka was honored to receive Mrs. OHOVEN, her daughter CLAUDIA JERGER and two german doctors accompanied by their HOP87 collaborators. 
The long-awaited project of hair stylists Baraka is finally realized. This is a project funded by Mr. Sawiris and « YOU FOUNDATION » to push young people to move forward. After our visit to the salon, here’s the transcript of the interview with the responsible Mame Diarra Faye.
The children of the whole country went back to schoolyear 2016-2017 last week, exactly on the 5th of October. In Baraka, the children were eager to go to school. We present a gallery telling you this opening day.
The notion of « significant » is inseparable from that of social hierarchy, although notable are not always recognized leaders (sometimes it may be of personalities which the population spontaneously recognize particular importance, which distinguishes them from others). Here is a special section on both moral and wise people of Baraka neighborhood: the neighborhood leader El Hadji Abdou Seye and Imam El Hadji Thierno Mamadou Alfa BA.
A « thank you » is only valuable if it is really sincere. This is why the population of Baraka would like to thank « YOU FOUNDATION » from the bottom of their heart for their project funded by Mr. Samih SAWIRIS for the primary school in Baraka. With this project, more than 120 tables and benches were repaired or manufactured for our school.
